Sydvestpynten

Sydvestpynten is a flat and beginner-friendly spot – close to the city of Copenhagen. Sometimes there may be shallow water and there are few large rocks – however, most marked with buoys, etc. Good grassy area and a small beach for rigging. There is a small lake to be crossed to get out to the beach. You can go through the water or around it. Alternatively, you can park at the beginning of the parking lot, and walk the path to the left, down to the beach. Plenty of room and there is even a metal spike for setting up the kite.

The spot is not suitable for E, SE wind when the wind comes through the woods and is quite unstable. The area is partly protected, so you just need to talk to some who know the area, on which one must sail before going on the water. Basically, it is not allowed to sail in the bird sanctuary on the right and left of the spot. See additional information about the protection below.
