About Liam Whaley
Liam Whaley is born on Ibiza, a small island off the coast of Spain, where he also initially learned to kite. As Ibiza wasn’t the ideal place to practice Kiteboarding, Liam and his Dad would travel to Cumbuco in Brazil to train each year. At the age of 13, Liam and his family moved to Tarifa, Spain (Europe’s wind capital), to take advantage of the fantastic conditions for kiting.
